Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. Volume itself has brown covers with sharp yellow lettering on the spine. There is wear at the head and tail of the spine and at corners. 543 pages, written by Yellowstone Park's first Park Historian. A post he held from 1959 to 1969. No apparent underlining in the book, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, no foxing, no smudges. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. There is wear and chipping at the top and bottom of the spine and there is a approximate 1/2 inch tear at the bottom front outer cover and another smaller tear on the back cover near the spine. However, the dust jacket looks quite nice in its protective cover. A quite nice copy of an increasing scarce work. Available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box! Hardcover. Condition: As New. Volume Two. Volume itself has yellow covers with sharp black lettering on the spine and a red cloth book marker. An embossed library stamp is found on the dedication page it reads as follows: "Library of Howard Lewis Kornstein". The book was signed on the half title page by the author's wife at the request of this bookseller it reads as follows: "April 2, 2004/Aubrey L. Haines/by/Wilma S. Haines"; not personalized to anyone. The hardcover exterior houses the soft cover copy. The book itself is clean, fresh, tight and bright. The volume itself is protected in a clear archival quality cover that is easily removeable.
