About the Author
Charles J. Alsheimer, Deer & Deer Hunting magazine's Northern field editor, is one of the country’s leading experts on America’s favorite big-game species, whitetail deer. Alsheimer is an accomplished photographer, and he is also the author of Quality Deer Management, Whitetail the Ultimate Challenge, Whitetail: Behavior through the Seasons, and Whitetails by the Moon. He lives in Bath, New York.
