As a child growing up in Florida, Deborah Abrahamson had an overly active imagination.

Though she first became a commercial artist and illustrator, Deborah never lost the love of writing. "After I had children of my own, I rediscovered children's books and knew that that was what I wanted to write."
She currently lives in Seminole, Florida, with her husband, four sports-minded children, a rabbit, a spoiled cat, and a golden retriever. When not writing or taking care of the family, Deborah spends her time volunteering in the schools, as well as watching football, basketball, soccer, and Little League games.
