This is a guide to the building of outdoor furniture, from "quick and easy" weekend projects to more involved "classic" designs. The introductions to each project are clear and include a materials list, a cutting list and diagram, step-by-step instructions, and useful tips. This would suggest that a beginner could use these plans, but several questions arise in the text with no methods provided with which to answer them. An intermediate woodworker could easily build these projects, but may not require so much detail. Advanced hobbyists will appreciate the clear directions. A glossary might have made the book more useful for beginners. With an unclear intended audience, this is recommended only for extensive hobby collections where other reference sources are available.
