[Note: this book has been reprinted as EDGAR CAYCE'S TWELVE LESSONS IN PERSONAL SPIRITUALITY.]
This book is designed as a tool for personal reflection, as a handbook for small group discussion, and even as a source of encouragement during those moments when the challenges of life seem more overwhelming than the beauty of it. Based on the Edgar Cayce material, Twelve Lessons in Personal Spirituality presents insights for awakening to our true nature and to an awareness of the purpose of the soul.

Reviews

American psychic and Christian mystic, Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) gave over 14,000 readings, which have been documented by the Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE). Cayce diagnosed medical conditions, prescribed health treatments, and gave spiritual guidance when he entered a clairvoyant state for the purpose of helping others. Kevin Todeschi has written a clear, thought-provoking overview of the essays on spiritual transformation collected by the ARE; they discuss the role of meditation and prayer, the dynamics of self-knowledge through relationships and through service to others, and the importance of establishing spiritual ideals and consciously applying them in daily life. Highly recommended.
