Kweku K. Bentil, Ph.D., AIC is Chairman of the Department ofBuilding Construction of the University of Washington College ofArchitecture and Urban Planning. He is the Technical Editor ofWalker's Estimating and Construction Journal and author ofthe U.S. Air Force's Construction Administrator's TechnicalHandbook, Estimator's Computerized Construction CostEstimating Manual, and many articles for various professionaljournals.

Dr. Bentil has nearly 20 years of experience inconstruction as an estimator, field engineer, project manager, andconstruction manager. He is an excellent speaker who has presentedmany technical papers at seminars and conferences in the UnitedStates and Europe. He is a member of the American Society of CivilEngineers, the American Insitute of Contractors, and otherprofessional societies.
