About the Author

Rolland Hein is Professor of English at Wheaton College, where he has taught since 1970. He has had a lifelong interest in George MacDonald's writings, having edited several volumes of his sermons. He is also the author of George MacDonald: Victorian Mythmaker, a biography based on the letters of MacDonald and his family.
