About the Authors

Michael Morris has been building homes and writing about it for more than twenty-five years. He has been editor-in-chief of Home Mechanix magazine, has served five terms on the National Association of Home Builders committee for the New American Home, and currently writes for publications such as Builder, Tool of the Trade, and Timber Frame Homes. He lives in New York.

Dick Pirozzolo has written numerous articles on timberframe construction for Timber Homes Illustrated and Timber Frame Homes. As a veteran author and communications professional, he consults regularly with clients in the home manufacturing, home fashion, and housewares industries. He lives in Massachusetts.
