Synopsis

Hannon's take on the prayer is that it is perfectly designed to help human beings realize God is more like a "prodigal" parent than anything else--one who's plan for us is to come, right now, "on Earth as it already is in Heaven". And that makes us happy, because it leaves us more fulfilled, at peace, and prepared to carry out our mission to transform this world into something more like the way Unconditional Love would have things. --
