About the Author:
Jerald A. Jacobs is a partner in the Pillsbury LLP law firm in Washington, DC, where he heads the firm's nonprofit organizations practice. He is General Counsel to ASAE and the ASAE Foundation. He has produced numerous books on nonprofit organization law and policy, including Association Law Handbook, now in its fourth edition. He has repeatedly been named to Best Lawyers for representation of nonprofits and charities, and he was the first to be honored with the American Bar Association's Outstanding Attorney Award for representation of associations.
