-- Table of Poems from Poem FinderŪ

From Library Journal:

Asserting a feminist perspective, a few poems in this thematic anthology, such as Nina Judith Katz's "Parve" or editor Wenkart's "Shopping Advice," contribute unexpected viewpoints. Despite interesting poems, however, cliched mediocrity prevails. Marge Piercy, Shirley Kaufman, Muriel Rukeyser, and Adrienne Rich are represented by a poem or two, but where are Linda Pastan and Myra Sklarew? Even dedicated poetry readers will be unfamiliar with the majority of poets. An outgrowth of workshops formed under the auspices of the Jewish Women's Resource Center, this volume never rises above an amateurish appearance: poems and illustrations crowd the pages, acknowledgments are handled erratically, and neither an index to poets or biographical information on the poets appears. Of most interest to large Judaica collections rather than to poetry readers.
