Anne Hebert was a novelist, poet, and playwright. Over a fifty-year span, Anne published more than twenty-five works of poetry, prose, and drama that helped redefine Quebecoise and Canadian literature.
Pamela Grant is a professor in the Département des lettres et communications at the Université de Sherbrooke in Quebec, where she teaches translation, writing skills, and editing.
Gregory J. Reid is a professor of English and Comparative Literature in the Département des lettres et communications at the Université de Sherbrooke.
Sheila Fischman is one of Canada's premier translators. She is the translator of a majority of Anne Hébert's novels and for her work was awarded the Molson Prize in 2008.
