About the Author

Louis E.V. Nevaer, a noted authority on U.S. Hispanics, is director of Hispanic Economics and author of ten books, including "The Rise of the Hispanic Market in the United States." He is an in-demand keynote speaker and consultant to Fortune 100 companies on the implications of the growing influence of the Hispanic market on American business. Nevaer is a contributor to Pacific News Service and New America Media, and his editorials are syndicated via the Associated Press to newspapers throughout the United States. He is a member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Vaso Perimenis Ekstein, SPHR, is a principal of Ekstein Consulting Services. At the forefront of workplace transformation for nearly twenty years, she formerly served as assistant vice president for human resources for Baptist Health South Florida where she provided HR leadership for a health system with more than 10,000 employees in one of the most culturally diverse regions of the country.
