JAMES HOUSTON was the founding principal and chancellor of Regent College in Vancouver, British Columbia, and is now professor of spiritual theology there. A graduate of Edinburgh University and Oxford University, he taught at Oxford's Hartsford College for twenty-five years. He is also the author of I Believe in the Creator (Regent College Bookstore) and the editor of Classics of Faith and Devotion (Bethany). Dr. Houston lives with his wife, Margaret, in Vancouver, BC. They have four children and nine grandchildren.
