Kerry Hardy is the former executive director and education coordinator at Merryspring Nature Park, a nonprofit organization in Camden, Maine. He has also run his own landscape design business. A graduate of the University of Maine at Orono, he went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and a Master of Landscape Architecture degree in Community Design and Planning form the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. He is a popular public speaker and field trip leader whose writings have appeared in Field & Stream and Outdoor Life. He lives with his family in Rockland, Maine.
