About the Author:

Tom Fitzmorris is New Orleans' foremost restaurant critic. His first reviews of the dining scene appeared in 1972, when he was still a student at the University of New Orleans; they have continued on at least a weekly basis ever since. He is the host of a long-running daily talk show called the "Food Show" on WSMB 1350 AM. In addition to numerous restaurant guides, Tom is also the author of several cookbooks.

Brigsten�s�Frank and Marna Brigsten are the most illustrious graduates of the hot era at K-Paul�s. They opened their restaurant about a decade ago, and from that day to this they�ve kept all the little rooms in it filled with happy eaters. The style is very Creole, but with a freshness and imagination that grabs you not only in your mouth but in your mind. It�s always agony to decide what to order here, because so many dishes sound irresistible.
