This book is all about New England's north country and thus is about loggers, rivermen and the other hardy individuals that have lived up there and includes old songs and tales of the area. The book's dust jacket has a few very small tears on the top and bottom edges, and slight wearing at the top and bottom of the spine. The interior book has an inscription to a prior owner at the top of the first page in from the front cover, but outside of that item, there are no further visible extraneous markings, detriments or distractions throughout the book and thus all of the book's printing, and photographs are all in a very well-preserved and totally enjoyable condtion and the book's bindings remain tight and therefore are sound. If you order this gem of a history of nothern Vermont/New Hampshire from us, we will carefully wrap it up in either foam or bubble wrap, then pad and box it and post it right away to you with both insurance and tracking on it.
