During the twentieth century, many people began to realize that, in addition to our conscious human mind, a much broader “unconscious” realm is also has important ramifications for our lives. The unconscious includes many spiritual forces―both helpers and tempters―who are aware of their activities, although they are invisible to us.
How does this affect human freedom?
Doesn’t our free will depend upon ideas that we develop consciously?
This book tells of the helpful spiritual powers, both in human life and in nature. These forces support rather than hinder human freedom. By understanding their activities, we can bring order into our lives and give meaning to much that may seem chaotic and without purpose. The author draws on the ancient tradition of an angelic hierarchy, and on the revelation of spirit that is breaking through to consciousness today.
