Black boards warped with some surface discoloration along front at top gutter, near top right front corner, on back along top 2/3 of gutter, along bottom edge. Spine bottom bumped and slightly rubbed. Spine's gilt letters still bright but there is some rubbing. End papers foxed. Pages very lightly tanned. DJ is tanned, has surface soil, is missing a piece the size of a nickel on front next to spine 2" from bottom, a few edge tears, missing top 1/2" of DJ spine with a tear 1/2" below that, bottom spine edge and corners chipped. The theme of the Cecil Collins paintings in the book is "fools". Some plates are in color.
