I met the author last night at a presentation at the Imperial War Museum. He offered additional insights to a talk on aerial reconnaisance. What Strikes me about the books Is both the authority and care in which key battles are viewed, before, during and after the conflict, as the author says 'this is the truest statement of events, this is exactly as things were at that time'. I look forward to an e-Book version in time for the centenerary of what the N.American speaker calls 'War One'. --By J. F. Vernon
