Synopsis
This is a book written by a Pakeha for Pakeha. It is based on practical experience as the author reports on what he learned as he moved from his youth in Wellington, to teach on the East Coast, to become a university innovator, teacher and researcher, and then finally, a tribal consultant. He discusses the principles which he has developed from this experience, believing that Maori development is becoming more tribal not less and that we all need to understand more fully what this implies.
