Born in Austria, Franz E. Winkler received his M.D. from the Univ. of Vienna, where he specialized in internal medicine and psychiatry. He came to America as a young doctor and practiced in New York City. Dr. Winkler soon saw that the moral and psychological illness of Europe is also endemic here.
