Born in Austria, Franz E. Winkler received his M.D. from the Univ. of Vienna, where he specialized in internal medicine and psychiatry. He came to America as a young doctor and practiced in New York City. Dr. Winkler soon saw that the moral and psychological illness of Europe is also endemic here. He wrote articles and lectured widely on the cause and cure of this illness.
