About the Author
James Cunkle and his colleagues are currently working on Raven Site Ruins in northeaster Arizona at the base of the White Mountains, twelve miles north of Springerville. The site has provided the majority of the data which encompass this work. As Coordinator and Director of Research, Kunkle, along with his wife, Carol, operate the Center, a facility open to the general public and devoted to preserving, protecting and discovering the past through education and a hands-on exposure to field archaeology.
