Join American adventurer Jim Payne as he paddles down the Thames River, dodging attacking swans, camping in ancient ruins, and engaging the seriously funny people who populate England. Jim has a knack for delving behind the scenes, and before you know it, you're following along on a witty, engrossing tour of many aspects of English life, including sports, drama, bell-ringing, law, food, immigration, and religion, as well as deeper mysteries like England s attachment to tradition, and the curious quaintness of its streets, buildings and computers! You never know what's coming next in this unusual voyage because neither does Jim!
