Synopsis
The first retrospective collection of photographs taken by one of the world's first conceptual artists. Iain Baxter came to international attention in the 1960s when he founded N.E.Thing Co. Under this tongue-in-cheek corporate guise he created art works in various media for over thirty years. This generously illustrated publication presents Baxter's seemingly off-hand shots as he traveled across the country and up and down the West coast between Vancouver and Berkeley throughout the 60s and 70s. His work is perceptive, funny and engaged.
