VOLUME is NOT slip-cased and has a burgundy ribbon place- marker !! Left hand page holds the myth and the right, a sepia tone photo portrait of one of the Stonies. Read about `Iktomni' - the changer - in many of the stoires from `Old-She-Beaver' to `Leaves-Wrapped-in-Robes' to Bluerobe and Red Fox'. Also mentioned (e.g.) are `Flaming Woman', `Istimah Tach', `Mnazan' and `Sun Calf'. Excellent note on the purpose of myth (._._. explains the universe, expounds natural laws, defines moral wisdom, ._._.) on p. 22. Cond: Boards are bright burgundy w/ gilt lettering on face and spine.
