Pricey, but well worth it. One of THE best (if not the best) book on this topic I've ever experienced in my 30+ years of working in the field. It' scientific, yet accessible to the public as well. It's everything I remember experiencing in graduate school and a whole lot more! The web-enhanced aspects add to the experience. Great job Dr. Inaba!!!!!!! --Stephen Mathis

A few friends recommended this book as prep for state licensure as an addiction counselor. So far, it is the most concise, easily readable text on addiction I have read, and studying for licensure there have been hundreds. I highly recommend this book for anyone in the addiction field, or counselors that need more help with co-occurring addictions disorders. I was very impressed with the level of state-of-art information contained in this edition. --Jessica Strawser

This book is filled with information, yet the authors have a sense of humor. They also are willing to look at the reality of the psychology field today, rather than be sidetracked by political points of view. I am enjoying the book. --Elizabeth Brandon
