Synopsis
In 1956, John William (Bill) Powell and Sylvia Campbell were indicted on federal sedition charges for the articles they had published in their Shanghai newsmagazine, China Weekly Review. The Powells had reported the appalling news that the US government was engaged in a top secret germ war campaign in North Korea and China. The prosecution ended in a mistrial in 1959. In 1980, Bill Powell was the first Western journalist to reveal the secret Japanese germ war (BW) campaign of Unit 731 during WWII, and the covert acquisition of the Japanese weapons program by the US. In this book, Tom Powell takes up his father's whistleblowing task to fully examine the Korean War BW charges, and to expose the full depth of government lies and cover-up of this long hidden war atrocity.
