MICHAEL AUPING is a renowned scholar of abstract expressionism. He is currently chief curator at the Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth, Texas. He is the author of Anselm Kiefer: Heaven and Earth (Prestel, 978-3-7913-3387-8).
