9780932885166: The Armenians of Iran: The Paradoxical Role of a Minority in a Dominant Culture, Articles and Documents (Harvard Middle Eastern Monographs)

The first survey in English of the life of Armenian-Iranians up to modern times, this book concentrates on their recent history in and their contributions to the political developments of Iran, as well as their increased suffering in that country's twentieth-century history.

The documents included in this volume, translated from Armenian, Russian, and French, are testimony to the valuable contributions Armenian-Iranian thinkers have made to the development of modern political thought in twentieth-century Iran.
