Synopsis
While surveying a large estate in the central Catskills, Ward Eastman discovers the body of the recently murdered owner in a remote cabin. All doors and windows are locked and soon there are too many suspects.

Norman J. Valkenburgh was born in West Kill in Greene County and has spent most of his life in or in sight of the Catskill Mountains. He is licensed surveyor and 32-year veteran of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
