What is the future of our climate? Global Warming? Ice Age? Both? Neither? No one can know the future. We can speculate. This thoughtful 45-minute booklet presents the idea that for the past 2 million years, our planet has experienced a repeating cycle of 90,000 years of glaciated climate/10,000 years of temperate climate, and that the glaciated climate begins when the atmospheric carbon dioxide reaches a certain level...and we've already passed that level!

I published this booklet in 1993 because I was frustrated that the mainstream media was hot on the idea of global warming, and cold on the idea of an impending ice age. Today (February 29, 2008), this myopic news reporting continues, e.g., the mainstream media puts out lots of stories about the snow and ice on Greenland melting, but few stories about the ICE satellite data indicating that this melting is limited to the edges of Greenland, whereas snow is accumulating onto the interior of that continent resulting in a net gain of snow on Greenland! The media reports that the glaciers are melting, but not all the glaciers are melting...some are growing. The media reports a global rise in atmospheric temperature, but where I live in Santa Cruz, California, there are more and more frosts each year, earlier frosts and later frosts, yet the media reports the temperatures for these frosty days as above freezing! And then there's the record snowfalls the USA has experienced in the winter of 2008. I could go on and on, but let me now suggest that you buy a copy of World Health, Carbon Dioxide, & the Weather and read more about this important issue. From the Back Cover:
Did you know?... -- that some statistics indicate that our Earth is getting cooler, not warmer? -- that there appears to be a relationship between the minerals in the soil and the weather? -- that there appears to be a relationship between micro-organisms in the soil and the weather? -- that there appears to be a relationship between us people and the weather? -- that our planet Earth is usually not as comfortable as it has been during the past 10,000 or so years? -- that there seems to be a big cycle during the past 2 million years of warmer then cooler weather? -- that glaciers have been coming and going on this schedule for the past 2 million years? -- that during these years, when the carbon dioxide goes up the weather cools off? -- that the carbon dioxide level is now at the point where the glaciers usually start growing? -- that reading this booklet can make you look up and seriously notice the weather from now on?
