Max D. Paglin (1914-1999) was a graduate of the College of the City of New York and the Columbia University School of Law. During his remakable career, he served in a variety of positions at the FCC (31 years), the Nuclear Regulatory Commision and the Administrative Conference of the United States as well as in private practice. Among the positions he held at the FCC were General Counsel, and later Executive Director. He was editor of A legislative History of the Communications Act of 1934 an Executive Editor of the Golden Jubilee Commision on Telecommunication from 1984-1999.
