Herbert Clark Hoover (1874-1964) was an American engineer, businessman, and politician who served as the 31st President of the United States from 1929 to 1933. His collection of books on mining and metallurgy, mostly acquired before 1914, was transferred to Claremont College in 1970. The catalogue comprises 912 entries.
