About the Author
Patricia Fripp is a true American success story... except that she is British. She was born in a small English town and became a hairstylist when she was 15, arriving in San Francisco at the age of 20 with no job, no place to live, and no contacts.
Today, she is a successful entrepreneur, a magazine columnist, and a media personality. She is also a "speakers' speaker," having won every award and designation given by the National Speakers Association and having served as the first woman president of this 4,000 member association.
“Meetings and Conventions” magazine named Patricia Fripp, "One of the most electrifying speakers in North America." She gives approximately 130 presentations a year worldwide for Fortune 500 companies and professional and trade associations. In her spare time she is a major fundraiser for the Leukemia Society.
Patricia Fripp is coauthor, along with Ken Blanchard, Brian Tracy, and other popular speakers, of “Insights into Excellence” and “Speaking Secrets of the Masters.” She is also the star of several bestselling video and audio programs.
