A non-fiction, autobiography of a recovering alcoholic who is also a survivor of physical, emotional and sexual child abuse. This is a story of much pain and suffering on the one hand, but balanced on the other by the realization that much love and joy ultimately came from that sorrow.
This story details, in a sensitive way, a life filled with the loss of and abandonment by loved ones, the fears and pain associated with child abuse, incest, adultery and failed marriages, not to mention the constant pain and agonizing struggles of a practicing alcoholic.

...I too was molested as a child growing up. Thank you for having the courage to write something so traumatic. -- Letter from Kimberly, August 14, 2001
