First U.S. edition. Softcover. A paperback original. Originally published in Japan in 1986. Features an introductory note by David Travis along with an afterword by Akira Hasegawa. A haunting collection of black and white photographs, many of which were taken from a train window as Fukase went to visit his childhood home after his divorce. The images of ravens mirror his despair. A near fine in French wrappers with some minor wear, some scratches to the rear cover and some creasing to the top rear corner.
