About the Author:
Chair and professor of the Marine Science Department of The University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, Bob's knowledge and talents have him everywhere from the judge's stand at the Dauphin Island Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo to the Board of Governors of the American Society of Ichthyologists and Herpetologists. His knowlege of fishes and their populations and his interest in resource management have placed him on the Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Management Council and brought him the honor of Alabama's Conservation Educator of l988. Also, a gourmet cook with interest in a family restaurant, Bob has added a few of his recipes for the buyer's fun and enjoyment.
