Rick Michelson, MPA, is a former police lieutenant and has written several articles and texts on assessment center preparation. He is the coordinator of a criminal justice program in San Diego and conducts workshops for those interested in improving their scores in assessment centers or promotional exams.
Pat Maher, Ph.D. is also a former police lieutenant who has written and taught extensively on the assessment center method, including legal issues and test validation. Mr. Maher also has an assessor manual available for those who wish to train to become assessors themselves.
