The HTT Cursive Writing Practice Book contains cursive examples of all 26 letters of the alphabet in both capitalized and lower case versions. The hand-strokes, as described in the instruction material in the HTT textbook, are indicated for each letter. The examples are in wide-lined size that is best for young beginning eyes. The HTT Cursive Writing Practice Book includes 20 pages of blank wide-lined pages for teacher and student to use to practice creating the desired writing skills of the student. About the Author: The How To Tutor Cursive Writing Practice Book was created by Mrs. Barbara Simkus, a longtime friend of How To Tutor author Samuel Blumenfeld and a long time professional Tutor in the suburban Detroit area. She used Blumenfeld s How Tutor Text book as her primary teaching resource. She recognized that some parents could use a resource like her HTT Cursive Writing Practice Book to help them teach cursive to their own children. So, with Sam s blessing she created this valuable resource. REVIEW BY PUBLISHER: The How To Tutor Cursive Writing Practice Book is designed to accompany the Cursive handwriting section of Samuel Blumenfeld s How To Tutor textbook. It is entirely optional but has been found to be very helpful to Moms in teaching Cursive Writing to a child (Or even an adult!). It provides easy to follow examples of how each letter of the alphabet (And Numbers) should be formed. Since Cursive Handwriting is formed only by 3 simple strokes of the writing instrument most people are surprised how easy Cursive Writing is to teach and how easy it is to learn. The HTT Cursive Writing Practice Book has some 20 blank pages (The pages do have pre-printed wide guidelines between which the beginner student writes words as he or she forms the individual letters). So there is plenty of space for the student to practice and soon become a good cursive hand-writer.
