About the Author:
Bruce Novotny was born in Atlantic City just before the legendary 1962 northeaster. His family ran a marina business on Long Beach Island which became a surfers hang-out, a source of inspiration for this surfer-writer who wrote a weekly culture and entertainment column for a summer paper at the beach. A graduate of Notre Dame, Bruce studied in England, played soccer, and eventually moved to Southern California to pursue a career in the film business, writing screenplays and editing videos.
