This Happy Gift of Tongues is a concise and accurate Biblical account of Speaking in Tongues, and its historical context within the Church. But this book goes further, for it includes a psycholinguistic research study of Glossolalia revealing the uniqueness of this gift of the Holy Spirit, rebutting critics who suggest parallels with the tongues-speaking of shamans and some forms of schizophrenia. This book shows Speaking in Tongues is a powerful weapon in the Christian's armoury, and it explains simply how Christians may have this God-given experience.
