Text: English, French (translation)From Library Journal:
After Greg LeMond, Hinault is probably the most famous contemporary bicycle racer in America. His autobiography will be read with interest by his fans and by those who follow cycling. Hinault loosely chronicles his extraordinarily successful career including five Tour de France victories and a World Championship. But more importantly he speaks his mind. He would be the first to admit that he is aggressive, stubborn, and outspoken, and that he has an ego the size of a truck. His comments on LeMond alone are worth the price of the book. Considering LeMond's tremendous comeback from his hunting accident and appendectomy and his incredible win of the 1989 Tour de France, it's a shame that Hinault is not still racing. The competition between these two former teammates would be fantastic. Highly recommended.
