Bawden 1903-1989 worked often for the Curwen Press, designed book illustrations, advertisements, transport posters, murals on ships, churches boardrooms and colleges, editioned prints and wallpapers and was a proficient watercolorist. He influenced the work of a group of artists known by the name of where they worked, Great Bardfield. This book includes works that have never been published that help gain insight into Bawden's working methods and his final pieces.
