Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: No Jacket as Published. 1st Edition. In all a fabulous copy of this rather scarce first edition. Bright pictorial boards with no obvious sun fading. The spine has a little lean, that is to say cocked, in bookseller jargon. At the bottom edge there has been some rubbing with the result being that there is some of the laminate scraped away at the very bottom edge of both back and, more so, the front boards. Because of its position it's really not all that noticeable. There are no inscriptions and the pages are nice and clean throughout. That said there is an owner name label stuck on the front fly leaf and a newspaper clipping of a job advertisement for Malcolm HGV drivers which is selotaped at the top edge only on the contents page. This could be peeled off carefully if desired, but since it has relevance, it has been left in place. A very colourful and interesting book telling the history of the man who pioneered a transport business. Seller Inventory # 012349
