Synopsis

Few Church of Ireland registers with entries from the second half of the seventeenth century have survived and those which are extant are mostly from the parishes in the larger towns and cities, especially Dublin and Cork. It is a useful corrective to publish a register from this period which will cast light on the make up of a smaller rural community, in this case the Leixlip union of parishes in county Kildare. This book lists the register of the parish of Leixlip from 1665 -1778 with surname index. 64 pages. new condition.
