I did not write this book to persuade people that Freemasonry has a complete absence of goat (live or not) and an equal absence of devil-worship. People who believe such nonsense do not do so on the basis of evidence and so presenting facts to the contrary would have no effect whatsoever. However, I was amazed to find that people do have such beliefs and that such beliefs have a long history. It was this history that I set out to follow and the journey has been most enjoyable. I hope you can step aboard and enjoy it too.
