The Meiyintang collection represents one of the finest private collections of Chinese ceramics ever assembled. Volume Three of the collection catalogue, consisting of two books in a slip case, discusses and illustrates nearly 600 Chinese ceramics from the Neolithic period to the Yuan (1279-1368), many of which are today on display in the Rietberg Museum, Zurich. Volume Four, also consisting of two books in a slip case, covers China's porcelain production from the Yuan to the Qing dynasty (1644-1911) with some 250 entries. This collection is now dispersed. The 1994 publication of Volumes One and Two of the catalogue, which presented earlier acquisitions, is currently out of print.
