'What the papers say' - about Martin Cohen’s books

101 Philosophy Problems:

'Cohen continually delights or infuriates us with his irreverent opinions.' —Times Higher Education (London)

'Without technical terms and incomprehensible superstructure, but with wit and irony, Cohen explains the basic concepts of philosophy and, in passing, the most famous thinkers of history.' —Der Spiegel

101 Ethical Dilemmas

'...a chatty, jokey journey through philosophical dilemmas, ancient and modern... but the philosophy is the real thing.' —New Scientist

From the Author:

Writing 'How to Live' naturally enough, brought me to the topic of the philosophy of food - and my current project - not yet on Amazon but available to preorder and 'crowdfund' at Unbound.com - is a book on food called 'Thin(k)' which includes incredible insights into why everything we eat makes us fat, and has more to do with laboratories than farms. Do pop over and see the video at least!

About the Author:

Martin Cohen has established a worldwide reputation as a radical philosopher and unconventional thinker. His two introductions to philosophy, 101 Philosophy Problems and 101 Ethical Dilemmas have been translated into many different languages even including a samizdat version in Iran. He also written an 'anti-history' of great philosophers, called Philosophical Tales and is the author for the UK edition of Philosophy for Dummies.
