About the Author

Jeff Hannusch has been a resident of New Orleans since 1978. In 1986 Jeff won an American Book Award for his first book, I Hear You Knockin': the sound of New Orleans rhythm and blues. He is a tireless investigator and recorder of the entire New Orleans R&B scene.
